We woke up ready to take on another exciting day of science. We had a grand breakfast of eggs, rice and beans. After breakfast, we all hopped right into are research projects. The groups did variations of experiments including butterfly dissections, ant behavior, leaf pH levels and how pH influences ant food preferences and many more!

You guys are awesome! We couldn't be prouder of all of you and the new experiences you are having in Costa Rica! When I look at all the pictures and read the blogs I am in such awe. Keep up the good work and enjoy! Love ❤️ Julia's Mom
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work team! You are getting to experience and participate in things as high school kids that the college kids I work with are envious of. Most of them are trying to even get invited to help at a lab on the UW campus to scrub beakers and here you are doing your own field research in Costa Rica.
ReplyDeleteJamie if you actually read this your ASU admissions decision came yesterday. Exciting stuff, so proud of you. We miss you and love you. Can't wait to see you on Friday.
What an amazing experience. The queen ant is so much bigger than I expected, wow. I can't wait to read the daily blogs and see the pictures, thank you to all of you for capturing the moments, and sharing your day with us. Awesome job students!
